As a member of the Powerflush Association we take pride in ensuring a quality flush, using approved tried and tested techniques. We also use top of the range equiptment, Including The Kamco CF90 Quantum 2 and MagnaCleanse Filter. Covering Aldershot, Ash, Farnborough, Farnham, and Fleet.
What is powerflushing?
Over time the metal components within your heating system corrode creating and depositing rust known as magnatite, or sludge. This is harmful to your boilers heat exchanger and can shorten its life expectancy, it is also restrictive of you central heating systems flow, and dramatically reduces the efficiency of your radiators meaning you have to burn more fuel to heat your property.
A powerflush is where a pump is connected to the heating system and forcibly cleans it using water at high velocity, but low pressure, so that no physical damage is caused to the system. The process is made even more effective with the addition of powerful cleansing and mobilising agents such as FX2 and Sentinel X800.
The powerful flow, combined with instantaneous flow reverser device, will dislodge and mobilise deposits and corrosion which resist traditional system cleaning methods. Once the corrosion and sludge deposits have been loosened and mobilised, fresh clean water is forced through the heating system, pushing the contaminated water out through a full bore dump valve to waste. During the process, radiators are individually flushed, without removing or disconnecting them from the system, by directing the full output of the pump through each radiator separately. At the end of the flushing process, the system contains fresh clean water and a suitable inhibitor is added to prevent further corrosion.
Do I need a powerflush?
Have you Noticed?
- Your radiators need frequent bleeding?
- Slow radiator warm up time?
- Your boiler or pipework making noises?
- Pump noise or pump failure?
- cold spots on radiators?
- some radiators are colder than others?
If you've noticed any of these or your system is over 5 years old than you will benefit from a powerflush.
Are there any other benefits of powerflushing?
You could improve your system efficiency by up to 50%
Reduce your heating bills
Extend your boiler / heating system life
Rapidly increase your system warm up time
Reduce your carbon footprint.
